Choosing Between Design and Development
Both paths need patience and practice. The better choice depends on how you like to solve problems.
Design and development both involve problem solving, but the type of problem feels different. Design asks how something should look, feel, and guide people. Development asks how it should function and stay reliable.
Learning becomes easier when students can see their own progress clearly.
If you enjoy structure, logic, and building systems, development may feel natural. If you enjoy layout, visual clarity, and user flow, design may feel closer.
The best way to choose is not only by reading descriptions. Try a short project in both areas. Build a simple page. Redesign a screen. Notice where you stay curious longer.
It is also normal to begin with one path and later understand the other. Modern digital work rewards people who can communicate across both areas.
